What were the circumstances that led you to play the violin?
My grandfather played the violin and I always loved it. I still have his violin. I started off with some Suzuki violin and some group classes at Adult ED. I left it for a few years then had lessons with Doris Kouw after my youngest child was in school. I also had some lessons with Christina Sigrist.

How did you hear about Derwent Strings?
I saw Colin Baldwin at a Mental Health Forum. I wanted to return to music but with an emphasis on learning rather than performance.
What is it that you hope gain from playing with Derwent Strings?
Encouragement to keep learning and lots of fun!
What are your future goals regarding music?
To keep improving.
